Jennifer SlaterThis yoga class is an excellent foundation to create a strong practice for a beginner yogi, or to develop greater understanding of various poses for a more experienced practitioner. All levels are encouraged and modifications will be shown for each level. This class will emphasize the techniques of Iyengar alligment with the flow of vinyasa.

Vinyasa with Aimee Williams

Aimee WilliamsLearn the fundamentals of yoga movement. Link the rhythm of the breath to the movement of the body. Friendly House & Yoga NW are proud to bring you morning yoga with Sheila. The word Yoga means to unite the body, breath, and spirit. Learn how to relax and relieve tension while increasing body awareness. Sheila brings over 20 years of yoga experience to this course. Perfect for complete beginners and those with basic Yoga experience.

Yin Yoga with Aimee Williams

A fun, flowing class, where postures are linked together. Combine a variety of styles of yoga to develop strength, balance, and flexibility of both mind and body. Yoga: Alignment & Technique with aimee williams

Explore the Architecture of the body through refinement and breath. Learn the principles of alignment & technique, as they relate to posture & form. Break down postures and learn modifications to support your individual, practice An opportunity to ask questions and receive adjustments. All level class. No yoga experience necessary. Yoga with Susie Neighbors

An eclectic mix of vinyasa flow to warm up,static Iyengar postures to work on alignment,winding down w/ good athletic stretching & relaxing/restorative poses. View the current schedule.

 

VINYASA with Mike Shvartsman

A flowing Yoga practice, focusing on holding and moving through strength building poses. Generate heat, work up a sweat and do some nice deep stretching afterwards to wind down.

 

Sitting Meditation

All levels sitting meditation with teachers from the Zen Center of Portland. No experience necessary.
